Course Offered
Educational Service is the motto of the National Education Society. The college was started in the year 2008. The College is known as much for its academic standing and leadership building as it is for social commitment. Besides, the unseen touch of the Almighty as Almighty has always been felt and spoken of by generations of students and teachers. The college aims at training young men and women to be leaders of quality in all walks of life and serve their fellowmen with justice, truth, and love. It is expected that this training will play a vital role in bringing about the desired change for the betterment of the people of our country, more particularly the poorer and marginalized sections of the society and Dalits. It focuses on the first-generation learners to build them and make them come up in life. Further, it will foster an atmosphere of intellectual vigour and moral rectitude in which the young men and women of our country may find their fulfillment and achieve greatness as eminent men and women for others.
Scholarships
Scholarships are also sanctioned by the Ministry of Education, Government of India to approved applicants from the college. The disbursement of scholarship is subject to regular attendance and satisfactory progress of the student teachers.
Physical Education
Physical Education forms an integral part of the B.Ed. programme. Attendance is compulsory. Performance of the student teachers, in these activities will be recorded in the course, and certificates issued to the students at the end of the course.
Attendance and Leave
- The Course Certificate will be issued to a student only if he or she has attended at least 95 percent of the working days of the year.
- A student teacher who remains absent without applying for leave for five continuous working days is liable to be removed from the role of the college.
- Regulations of admission to the courses
- Candidates with the following marks in the Bachelor’s Degree are eligible for admission to the course other than subjects like Economics, Commerce, Home Science, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Logic and Indian Culture for which PG qualification is mandatory.
Duration of the B.Ed. Course
The course of study shall be for one academic year consisting of 180 working days. The 180 working days will include teaching practice, revision, examination and study holidays.
The College offers 100 seats in different combinations of Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science, Computer Science, Commerce, Economics and Social Science.

Our staff have been producing commendable results every year with dedicated hard work and perseverance. We produced 98% results with Distinction last year. We hope to produce better results and University Ranks in the forth coming years.
